Course Description

This course is designed as an in depth study and examination of theology of Islam at the graduate level. Time will be given to the history and culture of Islam with the goal of preparing students to share their faith and develop a ministry that can reach out to Muslims with the Gospel. Topics covered will include the life of Mohammed, the history, growth and culture of Islam, along with the doctrines of its major sects. A portion of the course will be devoted to a brief look at the Qur’an and Qur’anic literature. The main focus will be on the theology of Islam and its worldview.
