Course Description

The student develops understanding in ethics, laws and business practices in quality healthcare management and psychological practice. The course content is designed in response to the American Psychological Association and the California Board of Psychology legal and ethical Standards. Topics include relevant court decisions, involuntary hospitalization, suicide Assessment consultation, supervision, and other relevant legal, ethical, and professional topics. 3 units
