Course Description

An overview of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ during His first Advent, as seen in the synoptic Gospels and John. Special attention given to the historical-cultural background, distinctive purposes and biblical theology of each Gospel as well as the major teachings and miracles of Jesus. An overview of the birth and growth of the early church and its missionary outreach, as revealed in the book of Acts. Emphasis will also be given to the relationship between The Gospels and the Book of Acts and their practical applications for personal life and ministry. (3 units)
