Course Description

A study of the development and practices of principles of biblical interpretation. The literal, grammatical, historical method is contrasted with the allegorical method of interpretation. The course includes theory and practical application of the hermeneutical science. Symbols, figures of speech and types are discussed. The relationship of interpretation to application is presented. 3 units.
