Bill earned a B.A. in Geology from the University of Colorado-Boulder and a M.S. in Geology from the Institute for Creation Research. He teaches undergraduate courses in Scientific Models of Origins and Introduction to Physical Science at Southern California Seminary. An experienced outdoor educator in places like Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and Yellowstone he also leads field trips in the local San Diego area to Torrey Pines State Preserve, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, and the San Diego Museum of Man. Formerly employed in the energy industry, where Bill served as exploration geologist and field engineer, he is skilled in communicating among both Bible-believers and secular geologists alike. He also taught English and Geology to university students in the People’s Republic of China for one year as a short-term missionary.
