BRIANNA ANDERSON

Financial Aid Counselor

Brianna has been the Financial Aid Counselor at SCS since July 2019 and enrolled in the BABS program since September 2018. She loves connecting with her fellow students and desires to guide each individual with Financial Aid funding as they continue working towards their academic goals. BRIAN BARGA

Registrar

Brian Barga has been serving as Southern California Seminary (SCS) registrar since August 2017. Prior to joining SCS, Brian served at Bethel Seminary San Diego as assistant to the registrar, administrative assistant for the supervised ministry and student assessment department, and audio/video/IT tech support assistant. Brian’s work experience also included working in various industries such as commercial real estate information research and economics, newspaper subscription services, retail banking, telecommunication sales, and restaurant services…. JENNIFER S. EWING MLIS, M.A.

Seminary Librarian

Jennifer S. Ewing has been the Library Director at Southern California Seminary (SCS) since 1998. She is active in the Association of Christian Librarians (ACL) where she served as a board member from 2012-2015 and in the Southern California Theological Library Association (SCATLA) where she served as president in 2007. She spent 16 years working as a reference librarian at the San Diego Public Library’s downtown Central Library and a few years working in the library at the Institute for Creation Research in Lakeside, CA. J. HACK III, M.B.A., D.MIN.

DMin Program Coordinator, Professor of Applied Ministry

Dr. Joseph Hack is the Doctor of Ministry Program Coordinator at Southern California Seminary.  He also serves as Professor of Applied Ministry, specializing in stewardship and leadership. Dr. Hack retired from active duty with the United States Navy after 21 years of commissioned service and currently serves as the Executive Pastor of Westside Community Church in Chula Vista, California. Dr. Hack has served as an educator for more than 20 years since military retirement in both the public and private sectors. His first instructional appointment was as an adjunct instructor of management at the University of California San Diego Extension College.  In 2004 Dr. Hack entered private Christian higher education and has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in biblical studies, systematic theology, and applied/practical ministry before accepting the appointment as the Doctor of Ministry Program Coordinator at Southern California Seminary… SEE FULL BIO & EDUCATION

LEROY HILL

Admissions Officer

Leroy A. Hill is a Pastor and currently a Seminarian. He is a full time graduate student who is finishing a Th.M degree in Spring 2020. Leroy grew up in inner-city Philadelphia, Pa. and always wondered why life was the way that it was. Erin Neill is the Student Accounts Manager at Southern California Seminary (SCS). Prior to working at SCS, Erin had 8 years’ experience in Financial Aid at San Diego Christian College (SDCC). Erin is also a 2004 graduate of SDCC with a BS in Business Administration. She has a heart for helping students navigate the fiscal side of enrollment so they can flourish in the classroom….. LISA PACHECO

Director of Student Services and Assistant to the Provost/CAO

Lisa Pacheco began serving here at Southern California Seminary the summer of 2019. She is now Director of Student Services and assistant to the Provost/CAO. Prior to joining SCS, Lisa served at Calvary Chapel Oceanside as the Women’s Ministry Director for over 12 years. Ministry has always been a part of her life and she enjoys the challenges and blessings of equipping others for leadership both in the community and their churches.
