Library Director

Jennifer S. Ewing has been the Library Director at Southern California Seminary (SCS) since 1998. She is active in the Association of Christian Librarians (ACL) where she served as a board member from 2012-2015 and in the Southern California Theological Library Association (SCATLA) where she served as president in 2007. She spent 16 years working as a reference librarian at the San Diego Public Library’s downtown Central Library and a few years working in the library at the Institute for Creation Research in Lakeside, CA. DMin Program Coordinator, Professor of Applied Ministry

Dr. Joseph Hack is the Doctor of Ministry Program Coordinator at Southern California Seminary.  He also serves as Professor of Applied Ministry, specializing in stewardship and leadership. Dr. Hack retired from active duty with the United States Navy after 21 years of commissioned service and currently serves as the Executive Pastor of Westside Community Church in Chula Vista, California. Dr. Hack has served as an educator for more than 20 years since military retirement in both the public and private sectors. His first instructional appointment was as an adjunct instructor of management at the University of California San Diego Extension College.  In 2004 Dr. Hack entered private Christian higher education and has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in biblical studies, systematic theology, and applied/practical ministry before accepting the appointment as the Doctor of Ministry Program Coordinator at Southern California Seminary… SEE FULL BIO & EDUCATION

Madelyn Jacobs holds the position of Admissions Representative and Assistant to the Registrar at Southern California Seminary. Erin Neill is the Student Accounts Manager at Southern California Seminary (SCS). Prior to working at SCS, Erin had 8 years’ experience in Financial Aid at San Diego Christian College (SDCC). Erin is also a 2004 graduate of SDCC with a BS in Business Administration. She has a heart for helping students navigate the fiscal side of enrollment so they can flourish in the classroom….. Director of Student Services and Assistant to the Provost/CAO

Lisa Pacheco began serving here at Southern California Seminary the summer of 2019. She is now Director of Student Services and assistant to the Provost/CAO. Prior to joining SCS, Lisa served at Calvary Chapel Oceanside as the Women’s Ministry Director for over 12 years. Ministry has always been a part of her life and she enjoys the challenges and blessings of equipping others for leadership both in the community and their churches. Financial Aid Advisor

Jessica is the Financial Aid Advisor at Southern California Seminary (SCS) where she is also pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Bible Studies. Prior to moving from Virginia to California she spent 10 years with emergency dispatch in the training coordinator role. Raised in Maryland, Tom came to San Diego mid-way through a 25-year Navy career.  Following active-duty retirement, he served on a senior Navy staff as a program manager for aviation training systems.
