Jennifer S. Ewing has been the Library Director at Southern California Seminary (SCS) since 1998. She is active in the Association of Christian Librarians (ACL) where she served as a board member from 2012-2015 and in the Southern California Theological Library Association (SCATLA) where she served as president in 2007. She spent 16 years working as a reference librarian at the San Diego Public Library’s downtown Central Library and a few years working in the library at the Institute for Creation Research in Lakeside, CA. Dr. Joseph Hack is the Doctor of Ministry Program Coordinator at Southern California Seminary. He also serves as Professor of Applied Ministry, specializing in stewardship and leadership. Dr. Hack retired from active duty with the United States Navy after 21 years of commissioned service and currently serves as the Executive Pastor of Westside Community Church in Chula Vista, California. Dr. Hack has served as an educator for more than 20 years since military retirement in both the public and private sectors. His first instructional appointment was as an adjunct instructor of management at the University of California San Diego Extension College.
