T. Van McClain Ph.D.

Dr. McClain is currently an Adjunct Professor teaching courses in the area of Old Testament and New Testament studies. Van also serves as the Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew/Director of Library Services at the Northeast Campus of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Schenectady, NY.

Dr. McClain has a diverse educational background earning his Ph.D. and M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, his M.L.S. degree from SUNY Albany, and his B.A. from Dallas Baptist University.

Van has served as either a pastor or an interim pastor since 1983. He has recently published articles in the Biblical Illustrator magazine.

Van and his wife Nancy have been married since 1977 and have two daughters and one son.
