Dr. Gino Pasquariello is the Provost and Chief Academic Officer at Southern California Seminary, El Cajon, CA. He is a regular speaker in the areas of higher education accreditation, assessment, and institutional effectiveness, and serves as a consultant for many Christian colleges and seminaries across the country. He currently teaches in the areas of Christian education, organizational leadership, and research methodologies. Dr. Pasquariello received his M.A. in Theological Studies from Bethel Seminary, and his Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Azusa Pacific University. His doctoral studies included transformative learning, student success and development. He is a contributing author in the Zondervan Dictionary of Christian Spirituality and the multi-volume Encyclopedia of Christian Education.
Gino is an accomplished musician and currently leads worship services at the Marine Corp Recruitment Depot, San Diego. Gino and his wife Tammara attend Shadow Mountain Community Church, are avid cyclists who enjoy regular training rides with friends as well as a full season of organized Century and Metric Century rides (“what doesn’t kill you still hurts really bad!”), and they love doing everything together. Favorite local places to eat include Phil’s BBQ, the Prado in Balboa Park, Thai food and Sushi. His hobbies and interests include playing the drums to progressive rock/jazz fusion music, being active, reading and drinking coffee!
