Thank you for your interest in Southern California Seminary. SCS is seeking students with a passion for learning about God and a desire to dig deeper into the Bible. From your first visit until your graduation, we will strive to support you in your spiritual growth, and prepare you to minister in the 21st century.
The applicant starts by clicking the link below. A difficult history does not automatically disqualify any applicant. SCS considers each applicant’s background on a case-by-case basis. A modest fee applies.

- Resident Undergraduate – The College at SCS offers both the Associate of Arts in Christian Ministry and the Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies degrees.
- Resident Graduate – Whether you wish to pursue a graduate degree in counseling psychology or in theology, SCS has a program to suit your needs and your busy schedule. SCS offers multiple Master’s level degree programs and Doctoral degree program.
- Online Undergraduate & Graduate Programs – SCS currently makes most of our degrees available in a 100% online format. SCS is authorized to offer online courses to residents in the following states.
- International Admissions – SCS welcomes Christians from many cultures and backgrounds to apply for admission. Currently we have students representing 20 different nations studying with us. The International Admissions department has more information on the application process and visa requirements.
Undergraduate (AA and BA)
- Step 1: Apply for Admission

- Step 4: Apply for Financial Aid
Graduate Bible and Theology (MACM, MABS, MACC, MAPA, MDiv, Th.M, DMin)
- Step 1: Apply for admission to MACM, MACC, MAPA, MABS, MDiv, ThM or Apply for admissions to DMin
- Step 2: Request Official Transcripts
- Step 3: Submit Essay (2-essays for DMin)
- Step 4: Submit Reference (Pastor/Chaplain)
- Step 5: Apply for Financial Aid
Graduate Behavioral Science (MACP, MAMFT, PsyD)
- Step 1: Apply for admissions to MACP, MAMFT or Apply for admissions to PsyD
- Step 2: Request Official Transcripts
- Step 3: Required Essays
- Step 4: Submit Reference (Pastor/Chaplain)
- Step 5: Schedule MMPI (MACP, MAMFT, PsyD), Entrance Exam (PsyD only)
- Step 6: Submit Masters level writing sample (PsyD only)
- Step 7: Apply for Financial Aid
International Students
- Step 1: Apply for admissions to Undergraduate (AA, BA)
- or Apply for admissions to Graduate Bible (MACM/CC, BS/PA, MDiv, Th.M)
- or Apply for admissions to Post-Graduate Bible (DMin)
- or Apply for admissions to Graduate Behavioral Science (MACP, MAMFT)
- or Apply for admissions to Post-Graduate Behavioral (PsyD)
- Step 2: Apply for a passport from the country of origin, if not already obtained.
- Step 3: Pay the SEVIS fee and obtain a receipt.
- Step 4: Apply to the local U.S. Consulate for a non-immigrant student visa.
